Thumbs & Lovies

We LOVE to bring things to our face now.

We have officially found our thumbs!

And love to hold onto "lovies"

Daddy's Birthday

Saturday was Daddy's 35th birthday!

We began the day by opening presents. Jonathan received a lot of new router bits, a new guitar strap and the new Michael Buble CD.

Mommy and Noah hung out and lounged for the day while Daddy went and worked out.

Grandma came over a little before 4 and we got ready to go out on a date! Yeah!

We went to Benihana for dinner and then visited Legacy Books, followed by meandering around the Frisco Mall. It was a great time just to hang out and actually talk hand in hand :)

What a great day it was!

Friday Friends

We went to the Outstanding Productions Dallas office to visit our friends on Friday. Many of the OP and Fauxcades crew had yet to meet our little man, so we figured that it was time to visit.

We had a great time, especially with Uncle Jeff!

Uncle Jeff

Stacie - The momma to be :)

Emily and Stella

We had a great homemade spaghetti lunch before we became very angry.

We tried to eat, tried to rock to sleep and even pulled out the travel hairdryer (thus blowing a fuse!), but nothing would calm baby Noah down. So after 2 hours, we left and immediately fell asleep in the car.

We did some last minute shopping for Daddy's birthday and then wrapped the presents up.

Once Daddy got home, we began our nighttime ritual - bath, rubdown, rock and then to bed.

What an active day it was!

Cookin' it Up

Aunt Leslie came over to pick up some mail. Leslie was able to capture Baby Noah cookin' dinner with Mama :) Such a big helper!

Mmmmm....Stuffed Fiesta Shells

We had fun playing with Aunt Leslie!

Then it was time for a bath and bedtime. We have slept two nights in a row with at least one 5 hour stretch! Guess he was going to wait until that 3 month birthday to get this sleep thing down!

Tummy Time

Well, to encourage neck and upper body strength, we try to do a little bit of tummy time every day.

As you can see, it is not so bad at first.......

Then its just the most awful thing in the world!

3 Months Old

Noah is officially 3 months old today !! I have had NO time to blog!

In an unofficial weigh in, Noah is approximately 13.5 lbs.

He is getting soooo big!!! He is nearly in 6 month clothes now! I mean,

seriously, look at those cheeks!

He has successfully and completely recovered from RSV with a lot of hard work and prayers. Thanks to all of you who prayed for his health.

Its been fun being able to truck him around town now and not have to keep him inside. We've been to Grapevine Mills with Grandma and even used our first Koala Bear changing station....

We've visited Daddy at work and met his friends.........

We went to lunch with our friend Bill, but forgot to take a picture - Oops!

We went to the Gaylord OP office and visited the girls.

Noah has found his hands and is constantly sucking on them. He tries to talk a lot more - a lot of coos and giggles. He loves to smile and laugh - Especially with Daddy!!!

Noah had his first Valentines Day which we have already posted pictures for. We had a great time doing the photo shoot!

He has even started to enjoy his swing - He used to HATE it!!! And yes - that is a hairdryer you hear in the background!

We even had the great experience (Extreme Sarcasm) to stay at a local hotel when our power went out with the snowstorm. It was awful having to drive in those conditions with a baby, two dogs and a fish - all of our luggage and then trying to sneak the dogs into the hotel. Wow. The house was just about to drop into the 50s though and knew it wasn't safe for Noah.

Noah is still keeping Mommy and Daddy awake by waking up every 2-3 hours to feed. I can't wait until that stretches out!

Until next post....

Jonathan, Melanie and Noah

First Valentines Day

On our first Valentines Day, Noah made Daddy a scrapbook of all the pictures that he let Mommy take of him. Here are some of the pictures from our photo shoot - Enjoy!
