Spirit Shaker * Earnest Efforts Rattle Review and Giveaway

I have had the great pleasure in the past to work with Heather over at Earnest Efforts several months ago, when Noah was much smaller.  Many of you may remember Earnest Efforts and their amazing all-natural wooden baby rattles.  We had an amazing turnout for that giveaway and it prompted us to collaborate once again.

We looked into the comments from the last giveaway and you spoke loudly!  The spirit shaker resounded as a top request of what YOU wanted to see next!

Heather and her husband own and operate Earnest Efforts in the beautiful Olalla Valley in Southwest Oregon (I'm quite jealous!)

What originally drew me to their company, was not the fact that they make wooden wares, but that they bring to new life - wood that has been discarded by humans and nature - for over twenty years!

No living trees are ever cut to build their creations!  Amazing!

With Noah being older now than in our original review, the rattle has turned from a teether into a musical instrument.  We "shake shake shake" with this rattle.

Completely safe - harvested from discarded wood and then finished with Clapham's beeswax, these rattles - along with the rest of their products - are smooth finished .

This time, Heather sent to me, a wooden Spirit Shaker.  The spirit shaker is a palm rattle that can be used for meditation, massage and music.

Why are they called Spirit Shakers?

Heather and her husband have witnessed that the essence of the living tree continues to live on in the spirit shaker bringing peace, joy and laughter to those who handle and experience them.

MY REVIEW

I LOVE the spirit shaker.  I loved the rattle just as much.

The rattle fits perfectly into my hand, so that when Noah and I are playing music, its and easy little instrument to hold.

The sounds is relaxing, yet fun and its multi-functionality is fantastic.

Noah loved the spirit shaker too.  It did end up in his mouth from time to time, but he loved to shake the rattle - especially when we had some music on in the background.

I love how Earnest Efforts truly stands up to their name by designing and creating beautiful wares in a completely natural way, so that I have no inhibitions of allowing Noah to play with the shaker!

I know that you will love this rattle as much as Noah and I do!
