Upcycled Paper Earrings: Review & GIVEAWAY!!!
It has been quite a while since I've done a giveaway! I had decided to take a short reprieve from the reviews to focus my time and energy on Noah and Jonathan.
While I still focus on them, I will start reviews and giveaways back up, but just not on such a large scale, so that I can always remember what must come first in my life.
With all that said, here is my first review and giveaway while back in the saddle....and its a GREAT one!I love recycled, upcycled and repurposed items with a passion.....and if you've read this blog for any amount of time, you'd know this about me by now!
It has been a long time coming, but I was introduced to Katrina over at homeECOnomics several months ago and fell in love with her upcycled and repurposed goods in her Etsy shop!
Interestingly enough, Katrina does all this on the side while running a small brick and mortar shop in Miami called Eclectica. It's all about salvaged furniture and home accessories for the savvy decorator on a budget. She's an artist and this business allows her to combine my 2 favorite things: Art & Thrift Shopping! A woman after my own heart!
Fortunately she's been able to dedicate herself to re-vamping all of these great second hand treasures. When she's not in her studio or hunting down a fabulous sale, you might find her documenting midcentury architecture around town and sharing it on Flickr.com.
Katrina graciously sent over a set of upcycled earrings for me to review and giveaway! Yeah!
Well, I sure am glad that she can accommodate sensitive ears, as mine are SUPER sensitive!
The earrings are not only beautiful, but the craftsmanship is exquisite. You can tell that she IS the artist she says she is - and quite a good one at that!
You will fall in love with the colors and just wait - you will be amazed with the number of wonderful comments that you receive!

Due to the nature of this product, wearer should practice caution and common sense in order to avoid ruining these small paper sculptures. All paper beads have been sealed for protection, but this does not protect them from rain, snow, swimming, showering, or sleeping in them.
