I am simply a son of nature, trying to live and be inventive without relying on corporations with cookie-cutter mentalities. I began my journey as a serious artist four years ago and my passion for creating and experimenting is forever growing!

In the Spring of 2006 I quit my day job. I got so fed up with the way corporations treated human beings I threw my work boots in the river. 

I suppose they're somewhere floating in the gulf by now, or mulch for a weeping willow. 

Even at an early age, I found the value in searching through old, broken, and usually discarded stuff, and creating them into new entities. Along with that and a degree in Liberal Arts (freethinking arts) I bring these skills to you in every piece I craft. 

Everything around us has a story to tell and I take pride in giving my materials a second life as a piece of art. In particular the reused silverware jewelry inspires me to reflect on the materials' past life. At a flea market, I found an old spoon with lots of visible wear on one side of its bowl and I couldn't help wondering who owned that spoon and how many homemade meals they must have eaten with it. Moments like that remind how awe inspiring the circular flow of energy is our universe. I hope to express this flow in all of my work.

The Friendship pattern is a Rogers pattern from 1932 and is also known as Medality. This Art Deco pattern features deep textured recessions in the metal with a dark patina.
