On My First Mothers Day!
MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY
How things have changed!
Two years ago, Jonathan and I were just getting married (two years ago tomorrow actually!). Hopelessly in love, we had God at the center of our lives and we were anxiously awaiting what was to come in our future together.
This time last year, I was 9 weeks pregnant with our precious Noah. Not knowing the exciting, loving times and the trials that we were going to experience in 6 short months, we knew that we were in for an adventure. That Mother's Day made the whole pregnancy a little more real.
This Mother's Day - My first REAL Mother's Day was amazing. I have a beautiful 5 month old child who depends on me and loves me unconditionally. The time that we are able to spend together and the light that I see in his eyes each day - is an affirmation of my role as Noah's mother.....and I know I am blessed!
Sons are a heritage from the Lord,
children a reward from Him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior,
are sons born in one's youth.
Blessed is the (wo)man
whose quiver is full of them.
Psalm 127:3
