Handmade Eco-Friendly Wooden Baby Rattle Review and Giveaway.

With all of the concerns now plaguing our children, including the toxins presented in children’s toys, it is comforting to find companies that are still looking out for the well being of our babies.

Earnest Efforts speaks true to their name. Earnestly trying to help and sustain the environment, while making these rattles and keeping our babies safe.

Earnest Efforts unique rattles are handmade from remnant woods of Oregon (no living trees are ever cut for their artwork)! The rattles are made with coated steel bbs, ASTM & ACMI certified non-toxic wood glue and finished with Clapham’s natural bees wax. The rattles are a safe, natural alternative to plastic. Cleans easily, simply using water and a mild soap and then refinishing with bees wax or an all-natural wood oil.

I was very excited to receive this rattle in the mail and have Noah start playing with it. Sure enough, he immediately took to the rattle and went crazy. He liked the noise and how he could bang it to the ground! I liked it, not only for its safe nature, but that it was easy for him to grasp due to its grip and lightweight design, unlike other toys. I also loved how smooth the toy was with no trace of how they sealed it, ensuring that the noisemaker within the rattle will never release.

I was honestly overjoyed by the quality and durability of this rattle and would highly, highly recommend that every mom get one of these for their little ones – or as gifts!!!
